Mountains Edge Construction is the landscaping company responsible for installing the Landscape Package for your new Sterling Homes residence. As the homeowner, it is your responsibility to contact us by providing your contact information and Landscape Package Certificate so we can schedule your installation.

In order to add your home to our schedule please complete the form below. We are required by Sterling Homes to have a copy of your Landscape Certificate before we can proceed with your landscaping installation. Kindly upload the file in a PDF, or jpeg format. The Landscape Certificate also out lines what is included in your complementary Landscaping Package.

 

All landscape packages include Front Yard Sod, with some communities or lots also receiving Rear Yard Sod, Shrubs, and/or a Tree—as predetermined by Sterling Homes. The placement of plants, trees, and sod is restricted to the designated areas specified on your Landscape Package Certificate. We are only authorized to install the package as outlined by Sterling Homes, meaning modifications—such as relocating Front Yard Sod to the Backyard—are not permitted.

More About the Process:

Preparing for Your Landscaping Installation

1. No preparation is needed, but weed control is your responsibility. Remove any weeds in future lawn areas to prevent them from growing through the new sod.

2. Once you send us your contact details and Landscape Package Certificate, we’ll add you to our schedule and email you a 2-week window before installation.

3. On installation day, Mountains Edge will:

   • Confirm and smooth grading with fresh screened loam.

   • Install shrubs and/or a tree (if included, Front Yard only).

   • Lay sod in the pre-designated areas (as specified by Sterling Homes).

4. The process takes several days, with grading, planting, and sod installation completed in stages.
